Tiny Steps, Big Futures
For three years, a Parents as Teachers (PAT) family educator partnered with a family to help prepare their child for a successful transition to kindergarten while supporting the family's overall well-being.
During that time, the family faced significant challenges, including the loss of loved ones and financial hardship. The educator connected the mother with mental health services, guided her through the kindergarten enrollment process, and helped her build strong relationships with the school system.
Through ongoing coaching, encouragement, and access to resources, the mother became more confident in supporting her child's development and advocating for their educational needs.
As a result, the child is entering kindergarten ready to learn, and the family is better equipped to support long-term academic success—demonstrating the powerful impact of early childhood intervention and family engagement.
Community Champions
This week, we are proud to recognize Crossnore Communities for Children as our Community Champion. Through Crossnore's Center for Trauma Resilient Communities, they help individuals, organizations, and communities better understand and respond to the impacts of trauma while building resilience and hope.
Imprints Cares is honored to serve as a Backbone Agency in this initiative, working alongside Crossnore and community partners to strengthen trauma-responsive practices and build a more resilient community for children and families. Together, we are creating environments where healing can happen and every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Faces Behind the Mission
Meet Eurikca Felipe Eustache:
As of June 1, I have the privilege of serving as Chief Development Officer at Imprints Cares, leading fundraising, donor engagement, strategic partnerships, and philanthropic initiatives that help advance our mission of nurturing children for lifelong success.
Serving children and families has always been at the heart of who I am. Inspired by my parents' lifelong commitment to faith and service, I find the greatest joy in seeing our mission firsthand through visits with families in our Parents as Teachers and Pediatric Parenting Connections programs. Those moments are a powerful reminder of the lasting impact made possible through the generosity of our donors and community partners.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my three children, traveling, discovering new restaurants, and making family memories.
